The celebration, held at the residence of the Turkish Embassy, brought together around 115 children—35 Turkish, 40 Egyptian, and 40 Palestinian—along with their families and a number of journalists and media representatives. The event was further distinguished by the presence of renowned Egyptian actress Yousra, adding a special artistic and humanitarian touch to the occasion.

The ceremony began with the performance of the Turkish and Egyptian national anthems, followed by a diverse program of artistic performances presented by the children. The piano recital and songs performed by Turkish children received great admiration from the audience, while Palestinian children delivered musical performances and traditional dances wearing outfits featuring the Turkish flag. Egyptian children also participated with cheerful performances dressed in costumes decorated with both the Egyptian and Turkish flags.

In his speech during the celebration, the Turkish Ambassador to Cairo emphasized that April 23 represents a historic milestone that established national sovereignty and the will of the people, noting that dedicating this day to children reflects a deep belief that the future of nations lies in the hands of the younger generation. He also expressed hope for an end to the suffering of children in Gaza as soon as possible, stressing the importance of upholding the values of peace and dignified living.

For her part, a member of the Turkish Parliament expressed her happiness to be among Palestinian, Egyptian, and Turkish children at an event promoting humanitarian solidarity, praising cooperation between Egypt and Turkey in supporting relief efforts and delivering humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Meanwhile, the Counselor of the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo commended the humanitarian support provided to the people of Gaza, noting that thousands of Palestinians residing in Egypt have submitted requests to return to their homeland, reflecting their strong attachment to their land.

The event concluded with the distribution of gifts to the children and meals for participants, followed by a group photo that embodied the spirit of friendship and cooperation.
