Turkish Ambassador in Cairo Congratulates Egypt on Sinai Liberation Day, Praises Historic Sacrifices

In a gesture reflecting the strength of bilateral ties, Salih Mutlu Şen extended his heartfelt congratulations to Egypt’s leadership and people on the occasion of Sinai Liberation Day.

The ambassador conveyed his sincere greetings to President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, commending his leadership, and also saluted the commanders of the Egyptian Armed Forces in recognition of their role in safeguarding the nation and preserving its stability.

In his statement, Şen emphasized that Sinai Liberation Day remains a powerful symbol of national pride and resilience, highlighting the heroic sacrifices made by Egyptian forces during the October War of 1973, in which countless soldiers gave their lives to restore Egyptian sovereignty.

He concluded by reaffirming the deep-rooted friendship between the Egyptian and Turkish peoples, expressing his hopes for Egypt’s continued progress, prosperity, and stability, alongside growing cooperation between the two countries across various fields.
